Wordsmith Unlimited is celebrating after news of a new contract with NHS Employers, which will see the team pen a guide to writing winning award entries for NHS communications staff.
Written and co-branded by Wordsmith and NHS Employers, the guide will be circulated to all national NHS communicators.
Louise Turner, chief wordsmith comments: “It is wonderful to be recognised as experts in winning awards and we are especially honoured to be asked to write a guide for fellow communicators, whose skills will be pretty good to start with.
“This contract opens up a new market for us in healthcare to build on our already successful work for one of the world’s largest outsourcers, many SMEs and a council. Around 85% of the entries we write are shortlisted and around half of those take a prize.
“We have also developed a half-day course for people wanting to write their own award entries, which we hope to run in the summer. Watch out for details on our website and Twitter account.”
Wordsmith has also been invited to run two masterclasses at the NHS Confederation Conference in June.
