Nostell Priory has announced the launch of a new series of events called Nostell Nights.
Working in partnership with local creative organisations the events will offer something a little different for a Friday evening.
Visitors can wind down with a craft beer, enjoy a live DJ set, get creative and explore the house after hours on this special adults-only event.
To launch Nostell Nights, the venue will be hosting a pop-up bar courtesy of Wakefield Beer Exchange and a vinyl DJ set presented by Long Division. Guests can relax to a mix of electronica and soundscape works spanning a range of decades and styles including samples of ticking clocks to echo Nostell’s Clock Work celebrations. Visitors are invited to see the contemporary art installation of 2000 clocks, ‘Harrison’s Garden’ by twilight, make their own clock jewellery or join artist Mitchell Robinson for a clock printing demo.
The first Nostell Nights will take place on Friday 19th May, 6pm-9m (last entry 8pm).
There is no extra charge for the event so normal admission charges apply (free for NT members).
