Northern Media Continue to Invest in Young People

Local digital marketing agency, Northern Media, is continuing to invest in young people in West Yorkshire, adding four new employees to their team over the last few months.

Joining the company is a Rory Turtle, Courtney West, Adrian Richards and Lucas Arrona. Rory and Lucas join on a one-year placement from Huddersfield University, whilst Courtney is completing a digital Marketing apprenticeship and Adrian is looking for his first opportunity in the marketing industry after graduating from university last year.

Northern Media has worked alongside Huddersfield University over the last four years and has provided industry-level experience for several university students, as well as opportunities of full-time employment.

The students are in need of commercial experience in their chosen industries and Northern Media is happy to accommodate them and give them the opportunity to learn, grow and develop.
Chris Elliott, Managing Director of Northern Media, commented: “Over the last few years we have developed a great relationship with the Journalism and Graphic Design department at the University of Huddersfield and have taken on a number of placement students.

“At Northern media we are proud to promote young people and we believe it is vital to our success that we relish from the ambition and drive that young people possess. Young people in the local area are extremely talented and skilled yet are often overlooked by companies in favour of experience. We are happy to look past their inexperience and work with their potential”.
