National Trust Nostell hosts ‘Meet the Maker’ Event with Becca Hoy
If you’ve visited National Trust Nostell over the summer, you might have seen the property’s first artist in residence, Becca Hoy, who has been busy creating a contemporary art installation.
The artwork, inspired by the story of Nostell’s missing Etruscan vases, goes on display on Wednesday 7th September and is followed by a series of ‘meet the maker’ workshops where you can meet Becca and have a go at a range of craft techniques. The installation, made up of numerous vessels created in different shapes, sizes and materials, can be seen nestled amongst the ancient collection until 30th October.
The workshops will run on selected dates throughout the Autumn. For more information, visit the National Trust website.
