Wakefield Business Improvement District (BID) welcomes the Purple Apple Award announcement and the promotion it is bringing Wakefield as a city.
BID Manager, Elizabeth Murphy said: “It’s great that Wakefield’s shopping experience is helping to put Wakefield on the map. Both The Ridings and Trinity Walk offer such a unique experience that cannot be bought online.
“The fierce competition the centres have already faced demonstrates what Wakefield has to offer, which is what the BID is constantly trying to highlight and stretch even more.”The awards will take place at The Brewery in central London on May 10.
