Central Alliance Scoops Ground Investigation Specialist of the Year at 2018 GE Awards

Central Alliance, the UK’s leading provider of preconstruction services, has won the prestigious ‘Ground Investigation Specialist of the Year’ award at this year’s Ground Engineering Awards.

Specifically, the award recognises innovation and excellence in site investigation, surveying and monitoring and Central Alliance was able to demonstrate how its innovative use of new technology has brought a significant step-change to the capturing and delivery of site information to the client.

On the back of its innovation and approach to site investigation Central Alliance has won ground investigation tenders for the Transpennine Route Upgrade; A1 Birtley to Coalhouse; and A1 Scotswood to North Brunton for John Sisk & Son. It has also continued to be chosen as the preferred pre-construction services supplier for Murphy Group; Amey; Amco; BAM Nuttall and Story Contracting, with supplier places won on national framework agreements with several large contractors for the client contract.
