C2 Events Acquires Five Hats International

C2events, the international healthcare event specialist, has  announced their acquisition of Five Hats International. The move follows previous collaborations between the businesses, including the joint win of a two year contract for a global pharmaceutical client.

Cheryl Clarke, founder of C2events, comments: “With both companies being privately owned and well established in the healthcare events sector, the synergies between us were very apparent. One of the most striking factors has been the almost identical culture that we share.

“This has made working together with teams from each company very seamless. It also means that, going forward, all key client contacts will remain unchanged.

“This will ensure that we continue to deliver the exceptional service which clients of both companies have become accustomed to.”

Executive Director of C2events, Mark Saxby adds: “The acquisition strengthens and broadens our existing event management capabilities and services in the healthcare sector. In line with our five year strategy for C2 we will be investing in additional resource and in key areas such as training and development, compliance, ToV reporting, IT and finance systems.”

Five Hats, also an international healthcare event specialist was founded by David Waldman in 2006 and has a number of global pharma clients, Waldman comments: “Having taken the business to this point, I am very happy to be handing it over to C2events. I look forward to seeing the progress that I am certain will be made.”

As part of the transaction, the existing Five Hats employees will continue to work as employees of C2events.

The company, which has appointed four new starters in recent months, also moved to new, larger offices in May.
